Average show in the rain
I went to this show because my boyfriend loves Pertinence, admittedly. (They sound to me as if a bunch of old porcelain dolls started up a band in an old lady's tea room, sweet but creepy.) I was sort of surprised that I liked the songs and danced around a bit. This show was not goosebump inducing, but still. I could have played the record loudly at home for the same experience. The backlit stage made it nearly impossible to see, due to that fact plus the amount of umbrellas that popped up when it started to rain, I have no idea how many folks were on the stage. The ambiance was a nice experience, and it was still fun to hear. I'd recommend them to anyone who never saw them before, but I probably wouldn't go see them again.
